Introduction

The topical spray dispensing system is an automated equipment designed for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and personal care industries, used for accurate preparation, mixing, filling and packaging of spray products (such as skin spray, disinfectant spray, nasal spray, medicinal aerosol, etc.). The system ensures the uniformity of the spray composition, dosage accuracy and stability of the atomization effect through high-precision atomization control, aseptic operating environment and intelligent process management, and complies with GMP, ISO 14644 and FDA 21 CFR Part 210/211 and other regulatory requirements.


Features

1. Precise dosing and mixing

Micro-dosing : Use high-precision syringe pumps or peristaltic pumps (error ≤ ± 2%) to support micro-addition of active ingredients (such as antibiotics and hormones).

Dynamic mixing : Magnetic stirring or turbine mixing technology, suitable for low viscosity solutions (such as disinfectant alcohol) or high viscosity suspensions (such as skin sprays containing microparticles).

2. Atomization and filling

 Controllable atomization technology : ultrasonic atomization, air pressure atomization or mechanical atomization is optional, and the atomization particle size is adjustable (10-200 μm).

Quantitative filling : The automatic filling pump accurately controls the single spray volume (0.1-5 mL/spray) and supports continuous spray or quantitative spray mode.

3. Pressure and gas management (aerosol specific)

 Propellant filling : precise filling of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), dimethyl ether (DME) or compressed gas, with pressure control range of 0.2-1.2 MPa .

Leak detection : Online leak detection system (negative pressure/positive pressure test) to ensure that the aerosol can is leak-proof in accordance with DOT 49 CFR standards.

4. Environmental and stability control

 Temperature and humidity control : Refrigeration/heating module (temperature control range 5°C–40°C ) to protect heat-sensitive ingredients (such as collagen, enzyme preparations).

 Light-proof design : The preparation and filling chambers for light-sensitive ingredients (such as vitamin C and photosensitizing drugs) are equipped with UV shielding coatings.

5. Cleaning and Sterilization

Cleaning in place (CIP) : Multi-angle spray system covers the tank, pipelines and nozzles, and the residual amount is ≤0.1%.

 Sterilization function : Moist heat sterilization (121°C/20min) or VHP (vaporized hydrogen peroxide) sterilization to meet aseptic production requirements.

6. Quality Control and Traceability

Spray uniformity test : Integrate optical sensors or laser particle size analyzers to monitor the atomized particle size distribution in real time.

 Batch traceability system : associate raw materials, process parameters and quality inspection data through QR code/RFID, and support LIMS connection.
